Privacy Policy
LatheExpert Pro (“we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use our mobile and web application (the “App”).
On first launch the App shows a summary of this policy once; after you acknowledge it you go straight to the Calculate tab.
The short version: we do not collect, store or share any personal data. The App has no account system, no analytics and no advertising.
1. Information Collection and Use
The App is designed to be offline-first. All calculation inputs, saved history, custom materials and settings remain on your device, stored through standard platform capabilities (UserDefaults / SharedPreferences / localStorage). Nothing is uploaded to a server.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, usage statistics or crash reports.
2. Device Permissions
The App does not request camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location access. The “Share” and “Copy” features use the system clipboard and share sheet, and only run when you tap them.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDK. Some screens (for example this policy or the built-in manual) may be displayed in an embedded web view; those pages are static documents that do not set tracking cookies or identify you.
4. Data Security
Because all data stays on your device, its security depends on the security of that device. We recommend enabling a screen lock and keeping your system up to date. Deleting the App removes the local data it created.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is a professional tool intended for adults working in machining. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be published on this page together with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
